Text and voice notes
Open a note and start writing. Use a checklist for a shopping list or record a thought on your phone. The recording stays in the note, and its transcript is added to the text.
Create a notes notebookWorks in your phone and desktop browsers. An account is required to save your work.

Start with the note itself
A notes notebook opens straight into the editor. Add a heading, format text, insert an image or make a list. Notes without a custom title are named after their creation date and time.
Switch the note collection between a grid and a single-column list. Header search can look in the current notebook or across accessible records and highlight matching text.
Voice notes keep the audio as well as the transcript
Tap the microphone, dictate and stop the recording. The audio is saved, then the recognized text appears in the editor. Replay the audio if you need to check a word.
Your browser needs microphone permission to record. Transcription sends the audio to Cloudflare and is subject to duration and usage limits. Transcription and synchronization need an internet connection.
Move a note onto a project board
When a note becomes a task or a project resource, choose Move to in its actions menu. Select a personal card notebook or a board. The text becomes the card’s details; on a board it appears in the first column.
Moving a note preserves its record links. If the material should remain a separate note, use Linked records to connect it to a task or card instead.
Write your first note
- Create a notebook and choose Notes.
- Choose New note, then type or use the microphone.
- Sign into the same account on another device to open the note.
Questions about this format
How are notes different from cards?
A note has one main text and can include voice recordings. A card has a separate summary and details, a color and tags. A note can be converted into a card.
Can I open several notes?
Yes. Choose Open in tab in the editor. On a phone, Open another lets you select the next record, and Tabs with its counter lists open records. The side panel remains available too.
What happens if my connection drops?
An unfinished note stays as a local draft in this browser, even before you type anything. Continue it after reloading. Save errors appear in the editor; loading account records and synchronization still need internet access.
